Computer Vision Engineer

For consolidated computer vision spin-off, which has created a deep learning based software, we select a Computer Vision Engineer to work on building the company's image processing library.

Its functions will be:
- Contribute to the design of computer vision algorithms and functionalities.
- Maintain and fix existing code base.
- Manage all the computer vision algorithms in their cloud platform and mobile apps.
- Manage quality assurance and benchmarks.

Is required:
- Ability to manage workload and self-prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently or in collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated interest in learning new technologies.

Experience required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Computer Vision: background subtraction, tracking, local feature matching, object detection, geometry, image filtering, video processing, etc
- Proficiency in Python.
- Proficiency in OpenCV, PIL, and skLearn libraries.

Required training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.

Required languages:
- Spanish: native.
- Catalan: native.
- English: B2.

Valuable requirements:
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (especially Scrum).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Svn, etc.).
- Experience with full system design is a plus (camera setup, illumination, integration, etc.).
- Experience with edge computing with RPi, Jetson or Movidius will be a plus.
- Knowledge on deep learning with Tensorflow library will be a plus.
