Who You Are We are seeking dedicated professionals with a passion for working in a Mission Control Center, operating spacecraft around the clock to monitor weather and climate from space. This position is based at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt (Germany). It is a permanent full-time position. We are looking forward to meeting you! What You Bring A university degree in a Science or IT related discipline (electronics, physics, computing, programming, process control, ground station operations) is preferred Some experience of shift work would be an advantage, but not essential Essentially A strong technical oriented background Good communication skills, fluency in English, both in speaking and writing Ability to work autonomously according to high level guidelines and to work in international teams A good working knowledge of MS Office Tools Collaborative and team worker Solution oriented Desirable A working knowledge of Linux Python, Visual Basic and Database knowledge
